The National Land Transport Agency, abbreviated as “ANTT”, is a legal entity under public law that forms part of the State’s Indirect Administration, in the form of a personalized service, with legal personality and administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy.
Its mission is to regulate, supervise, license and support the Superintendence Body in aspects of coordination and planning in the Land Transport Sector. It is a national institution, headquartered in the Province of Luanda.
It is governed by the provisions of this Statute, its regulations, the legal standards applicable to public institutes and other legislation in force in the country.
It is subject to the supervision of the Head of the Ministerial Department responsible for the Transport Sector.
