Eng. Miguel José Matabel
Miguel José Matabel, began his long career at the Mozambique Ports and Railways (CFM) company on June 25, 1974. He has held and occupied various positions in the company, of which, the post of Executive Director of CFM North between1989- 1992, and Executive Director of CFM South, 1992- 1995.
On 28 April 1995, the Minister of Transport and Communications appointed Eng. Miguel Matabel, Executive Member of the Board of Directors of CFM, a position he held until 2001.
With the category of a consultant to the Board of Directors, since 30 January 2009, he held the position of General Inspector of the company up to December 2015.
Then on 25 January 2017, he took office as the new Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Ports and Railways Company of Mozambique (CFM) he held since 2016 the post of Chairperson of the Executive Commission of EMOSE the Mozambican Insurance Company.
He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ports and Railways Company of Mozambique (CFM). Throughout his long career in the company, he has participated in various Seminars, Conferences and Workshops both in Mozambique and abroad.
