Patrick Moodley
Patrick Moodley first made his mark by leading the Sales and Business Development of Siemens Mobility in Southern Africa. He later assumed a global role as the Global Senior Vice President of Customer Services for Yunex Traffic in Germany, previously known as Siemens Mobility ITS. Now, Patrick has returned home and taken the helm as the CEO of Siemens Mobility South Africa, effective since October 2023.
With a comprehensive understanding of international markets – spanning Germany, the USA, the UK, Colombia, and Greece – Patrick’s expertise is genuinely global.
Patrick is well-acquainted with the intricate challenges the Southern African rail and road sectors face, from addressing theft and vandalism, advancing the digital agenda for rail through to empowering SMMEs. His vision is to craft region-specific solutions that not only cater to the region’s unique needs but also promote collaboration, maximizing the potential of local talent.
