Nicolas Gregoir

Nicolas has been the Chief Operating Officer of Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR) since November 2023 and has been involved in the mobilization of the project since 2021.

Nicolas has over 20 years’ experience in logistics and railways, mainly on the African continent, having been involved in various projects in Angola, Gabon, DRC, Madagascar, Tanzania and Cameroon. 

Nicolas is also one of the directors of Vecturis, a Belgian company specializing in railway operations, one of LAR’s 3 shareholders.

Lobito Atlantic Railway (LAR), owned by Trafigura, Mota Engil and Vecturis, was awarded the concession for the railway and logistical support services of the Lobito Corridor in November 2022 and began operations on January 25, 2024.

The project aims to optimize the transport sector in Angola and develop the national economy and the entire region, especially the DRC and Zambia.
